Rajasthan Travel Information

Rajasthan, the land of the kings, at its exotic and colorful best. The home of the Rajputs, a group of warrior clans who have controlled this part of India for 1000 years according to a code of chivalry and honor akin to followed by medieval Europe's knights. The land of proud peoples whose chivalry: pride, honor and martial traditions are legendary. Truly the most fascinating land, the land of many touching tales of valor and courage. Although the fortunes of its former rulers may be in tatters, the culture of Rajasthan, with its battle-scarred forts, color full fair & festivals, amazing palaces, riotous colures and sense of gallantry, is still very much alive.

The state with a magical air of romance, speckled with desert forts, lush flora and fauna, and exotic cities that rise out of the landscape like shimmering backdrops to Tales of the Arabian Nights. No one visits Rajasthan without taking home superb memories, a swag of folk art and a helluva lot of grit in the eye.
